Disability in sport has a long way to go until it gains the recognition and mass media coverage it deserves however Reid and Hewett’s victory does a lot to put disabled athletes on the map with online supporters exclaiming their excitement for the pair who demonstrated remarkable skill during the 2018 tournament.
