A Wimbledon Wheelchair Win for Great Britain!

Gordon Reid and Alfie Hewett bring home the gold as they win the 2018 Wimbledon Wheelchair Doubles Final.

During an intense match the score ended in a 6-1 6-4 victory for Great Britain who beat their competitors Germany's Joachim Gerard and Swede Stefan Olsson on Saturday 14 July 2018.

Disability in sport has a long way to go until it gains the recognition and mass media coverage it deserves however Reid and Hewett’s victory does a lot to put disabled athletes on the map with online supporters exclaiming their excitement for the pair who demonstrated remarkable skill during the 2018 tournament.

Electric Mobility congratulates the champions on their well-deserved win, we hope to see both wheelchair tennis and other sports played by those with disabilities gain more success and momentum throughout 2018.
